Last Sunday

 Again, pictures will be out of order.

We had dinner at the Golz's.  Matt grilled and the kids had so much fun playing in the back yard.

 Before church I told Abby to stand by the dishwasher for a picture.  She proceeded to closely examine the dishwasher.

 She finally turned around.

Mayfest!

These pictures are going to be way out of order, but on Saturday we took the kids to Mayfest in Fort Worth.  So fun.

On the way there we ate at Bailey's which was so good.

Aaron made a noise maker in one of the tents in the Children's Area.

There was a shark exhibit and this TV was playing a video of a Great White Shark Hunter.  I thought I'd never get Aaron out of there.  He is very into whales, sharks and the people that follow them.

The Beginning of May

I decided that May 1 would be the day to start parading my kids' summer clothes which was hilarious because it ended up almost freezing that night.

I LOVE this outfit (that Julie bought) with the matching hat (and bloomers).   I can already see Abigail on the beach in it!

Aaron has a couple of these outfits from Grandma Sheri and I love them.  I need to look at the brand and load up.  He's going to be so cute this summer.

We try to have breakfast or lunch out with Daddy once a week.  Last Friday Jory worked from home because he had meetings in Dallas.  I was taking the kids to see Dee and Papa, but we met Daddy for breakfast at Deb and Steve's first.  So good.

And please note the turtleneck and sweater on May 3.  Love.

That afternoon, this was delivered to our house.  Jory and I have been considering getting a Pilot for me and one of my friends mentioned that her friend was moving across the country and would be selling hers.  We went back and forth for a bit, but finally pulled the trigger last week.

About that time a stranger had said she was interested in buying our Expedition and we weren't sure about selling it, but were going to let her look at it.  She changed her mind before she came to see it and Jory decided to hang on to the Expedition for a while.  Then in a crazy turn of events on Saturday friends of ours found out we had a new car and they really wanted our Expedition.  They drove it home Sunday before I'd even put key to keyhole in the Pilot.  But everyone is happy, so it all worked out in beautiful timing.

We were home during the day and it was cool in the morning so Abby was in long sleeves.  The weather has been very up and down here.

In the afternoon we went to the park and we met Daddy at Chick-Fil-A

I don't have any pictures from this day, but Jory had a local appointment in the morning so he left later than he would have if he was going into the office.  It is always nice when Daddy gets to hang out with us in the morning.

We had a doctor's appointment to look at Abby's allergies.  I love this picture of the kids looking at the fish!

That was also our anniversary and this was my present (and a nice dinner!).

In the morning Grandad and Jory took Aaron to Bass Pro and Little Miss stayed home with me.

I love how cute this outfit is. It is one of the ones that Julie bought at the consignment sale.  I think she just needs to do my shopping from now on!  

I went to a Ladies Luncheon at church with Leslie Cotton and Jory and Grandad took the kids to lunch.  Apparently it was really fun and no pictures were taken.  After naps we took the kids back to Bass Pro. Family Fun Saturday!

She loves to crawl under there and say, "hello!" As a side note, we got new patio furniture from a friend who was getting rid of hers.  It is a long table with six chairs.  What's really funny, though, is that the kids keep telling me how much they love the new table.
