Ohio!

So these are a bit out of order, but I am too lazy to mess with it.
We were in Ohio Wednesday through Saturday last week.  This was on Friday.  My mom got the kids new activity books and they spent a lot of time working on them.

This was on Wednesday.  We got to the airport really early and found an empty terminal (Aaron wants you to know this was the Denver gate).  The kids colored and ate some pizza we had brought.

Getting on the plane.  Aaron led us everywhere!
Abigail got this rolling backpack for her birthday from Uncle Doug and she Could NOT wait to use it (and show Uncle Doug).
Maps on the plane

Thursday we had lunch with Dad and Sheri and then went to see my cousin Cheryl.  Before we drove back to Barnesville, we stopped at one of our family's stores and got some snacks.
In green for St. Patrick's Day
Friday we had a surprise birthday party for Peyton!  She turned 13 today!!

Aaron with Doug's cat, Coolio.  Coolio did not enjoy this, by the way
My favorite dog in the whole wide world who I just loved dearly.  She was almost 17 years old and Doug took her to the vet on Monday, so this was a time for the whole family to see her, love her and say goodbye.
This was Thursday night.  Doug and his kids came to Mom's and she had this cake for us

Back at Peyton's party
Abigail in Doug's basement.  The kids had a blast there!

I can't even

Having three weeks of pictures to go through is completely overwhelming me and this is only what's on my phone, not my camera.  And doesn't include the ones my mom took in Ohio.  She and Mike took the kids to a science museum one day.  She posted about it here.  http://bmeandering.blogspot.com/2016/03/cosi.html

But back to my mess of pictures.  Here are some...

This is one of my favorite pictures from the day that Aaron got baptized.  We are so blessed to have godly friends and Toby and his family are some of the most godly I know.

Abigail spending some Toys R Us money.  This is never, never a quick process.  Do not go in with her unless you are prepared for her to check out every single possible item before choosing one to purchase.

 Spirit night at CiCi's pizza!

Abigail's Open House.  Aaron's was the same night, but I didn't get any pictures at his.  It was a bit crazy.

 At church

A little Chuck E Cheese time over Spring Break

School lunch.  I do this once a week with each of the kids

Ready for Easter!

Aaron's Baptism

I may or may not have a ton of pictures from Sunday, the day Aaron was baptized as someone who has accepted Jesus Christ into his heart as his Lord and Savior.  It has been an emotional couple of weeks for us and those close to us.  Lots of joy, excitement and tears!

 In the morning, before church

 Getting robed
Aaron was baptized the same day as our very good friend Abby Golz (Janice's daughter).  This is Aaron and Abby checking out the church before the baptism.

Almost time
 Heading in

Watching Aaron's baptism

We had so many people taking pictures, we literally have them from every angle.  And a video.

He had a look of pure joy on his face when he came out!

Dee and Papa came to see it and we went to lunch with them at Cotton Patch.  We had a party that was really important for us to attend at 1pm so it was a crazy day, but Aaron did not want to push off the baptism so we forged ahead.  We had a small party at our house in the evening to celebrate with our close friends.

He got so many special gifts.  Books and devotionals and a beautiful leather bookmark engraved with the date of his baptism.  We were overwhelmed with the love and joy people shared with him.

This sign came from Grandma Beth and Grandpa Mike.  They couldn't be here but they sent such a sweet card and their love.

This had truly been the most amazing time!

This Week

Lots of busy, lots of wonderful.  Aaron telling our pastor on Sunday that he's accepted Christ!
Lunch with Sis on Monday.  I also had lunch with Aaron that day and I know I took his picture???
Abigail with a necklace she made with beads Julie gave her for her birthday
Aaron 'voted' at school on Tuesday.  Their school voted the same as the State of Texas.

Dental Check up Tuesday.  All good and Abigail got a special prize for no longer sucking her fingers at night!
We also had Abigail's well check on Tuesday and I had a meeting in between so the kids came with me.  Abigail's appointment was great.  She's still tall and thin!  :)
What I got when I told her to go get dressed for golf on Wednesday...
