My Husband

In just a few days, we will celebrate forty years of having Robert Jory Allen on this earth.  What a wonderful gift!

We had his birthday dinner early and these were taken that night as he opened his gifts from me and his best friend, Toby.

I love and respect this man so much.

I am grateful for his patience, diligence, love and kindness.  I am thankful that he is a man of God who leads our family.

I love you, Jory!

Saturday

We had a fun, sweet family day Saturday.  We had pictures taken on Main Street and it was a gorgeous day so we walked around down town for a while and then ate at Main Street Bread.

Then we changed into our Aggie Gear and headed to the Gaylord for a game watching party.  It was so much fun!  And Aaron loved the Gaylord.  He could watch the train for hours!

We had dinner with two families from Sunday School.  The host has two smokers and he made Turkey and Pork Shoulder that would blow your mind.  Abby devoured it.  And then she devoured Aaron's.  I'll give him credit for trying both meats, though.

Wordless Wednesday

Train!

On Friday, Papa and Dee took us to ride the Miniature Train in Fort Worth

It was the cutest thing

The kids both loved it (and they both almost fell asleep)

Afterwards, we went to Trinity Park and Abby gave us a run for our money!

Mowing

Aaron was mowing with Mater this weekend and he had to do it just like Daddy.

Pumpkin Patch Day

Today was Country Critter Pumpkin Patch Day at school!  Aaron got to pick a pumpkin, ride a pony and see all kinds of cute, cuddly animals.  He had such a fun day!

20 Months Old

 Happy 20 Months to our Spit Fire!  You are so sweet and we love you so much.  You are just SO precious.  You are also full of personality and will and fire.  We love every inch of you!

 You wear size 24 month clothes, size 4 diapers and size 7 shoes.  You are TALL.  You are a big eater and a great sleeper.  You LOVE your brother and he loves you.  You LOVE, LOVE books. You LOVE to be outside.  You have taken to backhoes and construction equipment - you come by it naturally.
