Abby's Well Check

Abby had her well check this week and everything looked great.
She's 35 inches tall (99th percentile) and 26 pounds (80th).  She got one shot and handled it well.
She has been so cute lately.  We just love watching her grow and change.
She is learning more and more signs and it's fun watching her communicate.
She just absolutely loves music and she loves to dance!
She is a doll!

Abby's First Day of School

Abby had a great first day of school after Mama finally broke down and let her go.

She walked her sweet self right into her classroom and never looked back.

When I came to pick her up she had her backpack on her back and looked so grown up.

She had music and she really liked it.

She was sooooo soooooo soooooo excited to go to school!  She has been bringing me her backpack for a week.  She could not wait to get there.

About to go in!

Funny Abby!

19 Months Old!

Sweet Girl is 19 Months old today!  She is fun, fun, fun.
She is quite the communicator!  And, she's starting to get words, too!  HA!  She can say uh oh, whoa, oh, out, bug and apple.
She still rests in the morning and takes a nap after lunch when Aaron does.  She eats anything - and a lot of it.  She sleeps 12 hours at night.  She LOVES music and books.  She loves being outside.  She loves her brother.
She wears size 24 month clothes and size 4 diapers.  She wears size 6 shoes.  She is very tall and people always think she is at least two.  Not yet!!!

Sweet Brother

Yesterday Jory and I had to travel for a funeral and we were leaving early and were going to be gone a long time.  Aaron was going to Grandad and Mimi's and Abby was going to my friend Julie's.  Abby and I left first and Aaron went over, gave Abby a kiss and a hug and told her to "have fun at Miss Julie's, Abby. I'll miss you."  Melt my heart.  And then he stood on the porch and waved to her the entire time we were pulling down the driveway yelling "Bye Bye Abby!"
He is so protective of his sister.  (The top picture is just to prove that we actually do go to Old Navy every day and the next picture is of lunch with Daddy.  They have nothing to do with this post.)
This is Aaron helping Abby walk to the car so she doesn't fall and hurt herself.
The kids have swim at the same time and afterwards Aaron always asks Abby how her class was.  He was very sad for her that she missed the big fun at Grandad's yesterday and he told me that I need to take her back with him so she can do all the fun things he did.
I want to shake this three year old approximately 25% of the time, but wow do I love his sweet, sweet heart.

Jealous Brother

I finally sent Abby to school Tuesday.
I wanted to take a lot of First Day of School pictures of her, but Aaron wasn't having it.  He kept getting in front of her and saying, 'take a picture of me!'.  Abby must have been stealing his school thunder.
Seriously, though, I am so glad that Aaron is so excited about school every Tuesday and Thursday.  Dropping the kids off has been a breeze and this school seems to be such a blessing to our family.

I dressed the babies in red, white and blue for 9-11.  I do that every year, but I think it might be odd.

Playing before the doors open at school.

I will do a post of actually First Day of School pictures of Abby shortly!
