Week in Review

I took a lot of pictures of the back of Abigail's head this week since she was getting a hair cut

Four inches came off and you can't even tell.  But the stylist talked me into layers to 'help with tangles' and now it's really hard to braid because of the different lengths so she'll probably get more cut off soon to even it out because we love a good braid.
We got this picture emailed to us from the Christmas Market last weekend.

I ate lunch with Aaron on Thursday.  I eat with the kids once a week.  Aaron especially loves it.
We meet some friends at the park every Thursday after school

Abigail wearing my coat.  It's a bit too small but she loves it so we will try to sneak in one more season

Abigail's Thanksgiving Feast was so cute on Friday
In her turkey hat and shirt. She looks armless here which just adds to this mess of a picture

 Fun lunch!

The last couple of weeks

At the beginning of November, the fire alarm went off at Aaron's school right before dismissal.  The children were evacuated and a fire truck came and fire fighters went in with hoses.  The district didn't get the word out right away, so I was waiting at the bus stop for 25 minutes before I got the news.  Aaron was a little nervous during the ordeal but he said he just prayed in his head!

These are my Grandma Ruth's recipe Orange Muffins.  But I made them and then Katie went to the hospital and when Julie brought Jackson to me I gave her all of the muffins which ended up being the only food they had the first two days, so I guess it worked out.
I made Jory a sweet potato cobbler for his birthday because it's his favorite

Sis playing with her friend at Aaron's golf lessons.  Yes, she dressed herself.  In this brand new dress Grandma Sheri sent that still had the tags on it for, you know, Christmas.  And cowboy boots.  And can I even tell you how many people told me how cute she looked???
I went to the hospital Thursday.  Katie needed light purple toe nail polish (and Julie needed Starbucks).
I surprised Jory and got to have lunch with him when I left the hospital!
Aaron spend his Halloween money from Grandpa Tom and Grandma Sheri on a new book
On Friday I took Jackson for his first Starbucks experience.  Total success.

This Week

We've had a nice week and a sweet weekend so far.  I took these pictures this week, because every morning Aaron seriously reads the Sports Section of the Paper and I thought I should document that.
Abigail got a new dress from Grandma Sheri and Grandpa Tom!
Abigail wrote this note to Aaron.  I swoon.  Aaron wrote her one to put by her bed that says "The battle belongs to the Lord".  He told her that if storms scare her in the night to see her note and remember that she doesn't have to have the sacredness all by herself because God will help her.  He also had a bit of a fire scare at school this week and he said he prayed silently while they waited for the all clear.  It makes me tear up.

Another new dress from the Grandparents.  She was so proud to be a flower!
Lunch with Aaron.  I don't know why he looks miserable.

I babysat this week and when Baby Kellan fell asleep on me we all cuddled up for reading time.

And then I read to Abigail's class!

Aaron at the Dragon Game
 Abigail ready for dance
And with her Turkey Dress over it all.
This guy went hunting today and was very successful!  We missed him but are glad he had a great day and we are all looking forward to celebrating his birthday tomorrow.  I'm excited to have an evening out with My Favorite and the kids are excited to have an evening in with their favorite babysitter.  (And they are excited to celebrate Daddy tomorrow, too!)

Aaron and I went to Starbucks today while Abigail was at dance.

And we had to pick something up at Red Lobster in Frisco today so we had a fancy lunch there.  So much fun.  The kids loved the lobsters in the tanks.

This afternoon the Perot Museum did a Science Festival at Abigail's school
 We had a fun time

And here's the ending to the day with Jackson sacked out.  I sent this to Julie because he told me it was too dark and I told him if he wasn't asleep in 15 minutes I would open the door.  This was four minutes later.
