Abby at Chuck E Cheese

We went to Chuck E Cheese today with Ann and her kids.  Abby has been before, but this was her first time to ride the rides.  She LOVED it.

She was dancing in the seats, steering the cars and pushing all the buttons, laughing and trying to make the rides go faster!

Very serious driving here

Look at me!

This is Aaron in the Bob the Builder ride.  He rode it 25 times in a row.  That is not an exaggeration or a guess.

Some things I just love!

This is Abby posing for a picture.  She hands me my camera or my phone and then runs and sits or stands in her pose and then runs back to see the picture.

This is Abby eating blueberry applesauce and yogurt.  Love this girl!

I usually get her pretty naked for dinner (see above picture) and then she plays for a bit afterwards, so I end up with a few naked pictures.
Can you beat this?

Or this?

And this is random, but I'm pretty excited about it - even if Christmas is five months away!

Petting Farm Party!

Our sweet friend Leah wanted a bunny party for her third birthday, so her parents found a petting farm!

There were bunnies to pet, but Aaron liked the goats best.

Looking at the pond

Aaron seriously loved this party!

Bunny nibbles!

Bunny ears!
Aaron didn't want to leave!

Aaron

Three is such a crazy age. The hardest moments with the most fun, most sweet, most unbelievable moments. I love this boy!
I love this boy, but... he's taken to saying 'yeah'.  Okay, that's just going to drive me right through the roof.  I realize there are probably more important things to worry about, but...

Anyway, he's also taken to calling me Mommy-gail.  It comes from Abigail which he pronounces Ab Bee Gail.  So, I am Mom Mee Gail.
Aaron watches me do Jillian Michels workouts and he loves to imitate them everywhere we go.  Here's the Plank!

17 Months

Our Little Miss turned 17 months on Sunday!

She is so much fun!  She is all energy and babble and giggles.

She loves to be outside, she loves dirt, she loves electronics, she loves music - ALL music and I mean that, she loves books, she loves to dance, she LOVES her brother.

She wears 24 month clothes, size 5 shoes, size 4 diapers and lots of bows.  She loves her bows!

She is PRECIOUS and we love her!

Southern Belle

Jory thought it was great that Abby was in the kitchen in her dress and her bow reading Southern Living!

She followed it up with a little dirt work!  That girl LOVES to be outside!

As an aside

Kelly Stamps had a Blog Post last week about how she and her husband picked their daughters' names.  She said that even though they are done having kids, she always has a list of names at the ready.  I thought it was funny, because just Monday night, three of my friends and I were discussing the exact same thing.  We are all done having kids, as far as we know, and yet we've got names ready for that 'next' baby!  I LOVE baby names.  I always say I'd have ten children just to name them.  And I am so fascinated with how people chose their kids' names.  SO, just for fun, here is what Jory and I would name our 'next' baby.  And, without telling you the whole long story of how it's come about, the fact that all 'three' of our kids would have names starting with 'A' is actually a coincidence.  The fact that all the names are Biblical is not.

If we had another girl, we would name her ANNA.  This would have been Aaron's name if he was a girl.  Then we switched to Abigail for our second, but we'd use Anna if we had another girl.  It means Gracious.

If we had a boy, his name would be ANDREW.  It means Courageous.

Well Check

Abby just had her well check appointment.  Everything looked great!  She is tall - 33 inches - and she weighs 24 pounds.  That puts her in the 98th percentile for height and 80th for weight.  She is almost identical in height and weight to Aaron at this age (which is really big for a girl).
She has twelve teeth.  Eight are completely in and four (including molars) are at different stages of coming in.  She was so cute and fun at the doctor's!  Maybe she was just enjoying being the center of attentions - Aaron stayed home!
