The new Chick-fil-A

The Southlake Chick-fil-a reopened after an extensive remodeling project.

We met the Elliotts and Savages there on Wednesday night.

It pretty much freaked all the adults out, but the kids did just fine.
The play room was still the same!

Tomato picking at Dee and Papa's

Fort Worth Museum of Science and History

Our play group had a date at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History on Friday.
It was SO neat.  There's way more than we could do in a short two hours there!
In the kids area there was a grocery store that the kids loved. Below is Aaron riding a horse with a simulation video.
 Building from wood blocks.
 In the alligator's jaws
Checking out the groceries.  The scanner made a fun noise.

Dino dig!  They were digging up bones.

 Lights and pegs
It was the most fun, interesting play date yet!

I've got my suit on, let's go swimming!

Lunch with Daddy

We met Jory at Freebird's for lunch this week.
 We all love Freebird's
And even though it doesn't look like it here we all had a great time with Daddy!

Weekend

We had such a fun-filled weekend, but I didn't get many pictures expect for these silly ones Aaron took with my phone.  He figured out how to switch the screen.

On Saturday morning, Jory volunteered at the food co-op and the kids and I went to Walmart which I was dreading.  It went well, though.  We got there early and Aaron walked beside the cart and got everything on the list.  He's getting very good at grocery shooping.
I will say he's not discerning with produce, though.  To him, a red pepper is a red pepper...so we roll with that.
We got back at the same time as Jory and we all went to BassPro for the rest of the morning.  The kids love the water and fish and the fishing shows.
In the afternoon Jory grilled and we had a couple over from Sunday School for dinner.
Sunday after church and naps we had Leah Brockett's fourth birthday party at Jump For Fun.  It is a warehouse full of bounce houses and the kids love it.
Plus they get to see most of their favorite people!

Abby

Abby started talking.  She has over 150 words and she is using sentences.  She's just, you know, talking.
She will be 2 1/2 in August.  She wears a 2T and a size 5 diaper.  She sleeps a lot at night.  Her preference would be to get it all done then so she can just play all day.
She loves to dig in the dirt.  She can sit outside all day long digging.  And she likes to jump off of things.

Churning Ice Cream

At Nash Farm on Friday there was hand churning of ice cream.

All the kids got to help crank.

And then they got to eat the fruits of their labor!
