Colorado!

We spent the first week of August in Colorado.  It was so exciting to cross the line into the State after a long day of driving.

 

 

 

We spent the first day with our friends the Snyders in Colorado Springs and had lunch in Wanitou Springs

 

 

 

 

 

 

And we got to celebrate Colton's birthday with him

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Our friends from here, the Golzes, were driving to Fort Collins and they met all of us for dinner and cake

 

 

 

 

 

We also went to Garden of the Gods and The Air Force Academy that day

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The next day we stayed in Denver.  We visited the REI Flagship Store

 

And a great bookstore

 

 

 

 

And a mall with the Snyders...

while the boys went to the Rockies game!  It was Aaron's favorite part of the trip

 

 

 

 

The next day we drove to Boulder and explored the University

 

 

 

 

 

And we found another great bookstore

 

 

 

We got to have dinner with Jory's aunt and uncle
