Abby's 22nd Month Birthday

With my Blog Breaking this month, I missed Abby's birthday post.  I can't believe I am planning her second birthday party now!
Abby is full of personality.  She is fun and adventurous.  She wears size 24 month or 2T clothes, though she still has some 18 month that fit her and she has some 2T that are way too big.  So she's a bit in between now.  She wears size 4 diapers and size 7 shoes.
She has 27 words and since I last posted, she has added
Mom (Ma)

Ball (Ba)

Balloon (Ba)

Diaper (Duh Buh)

She loves shoes and purses!  She loves to brush her teeth.  She loves her brother!

Card

I thought this was a sweet gift that Abby's Sunday School made.  It is a card that folds up and is tied with a ribbon.  On each end is one of her hand prints.  It says "I love you this much" and has her picture from one of the Sundays at church.

Get ready for an onslaught

I decided to update the blog before we leave for Ohio and come back to all the Christmas pictures to sort through.  So I have several posts and lots of pictures from the last week.

Here is the past week of Dressing for December

Thursday December 13
This was an outfit of Kristi's.  Abby wears this sweater all of the time.  I really like the style.
Friday December 14
This sweater came from Kristi and it is probably my favorite.  Kim got these snowman leggings at Gymboree this fall.
Saturday December 15
Another outfit from Kristi.  It's a sweet velour top with ruffles.

Sunday December 16

Isn't this precious?  It's a white Rosalina dress with blue Christmas trees.  I love Rosalina dresses because they last forever.  They are already long and then they have a hem you can take out.  My very favorite dress in the whole world is the light blue smocked dress that Kathy gave Abby when she was born.  I have had her pictures made in it three times and she wore it on Easter.  It's a Rosalina and it is a 12 month dress, but she has been wearing it since she was 9 months old and will still be wearing it this Spring.  I got this one on clearance at Smock It To Me just a couple of weeks ago.

Monday December 17
This turtleneck has three Christmas ornaments on it.  It was Abby's cousin's.  The ribbon on the ornaments is the same material as these pants of Katie Grace's.

Tuesday December 18

I have, by far, gotten the most compliments on this dress of Katie Grace's.  We had Christmas pictures made in it, too.  The candy canes are on a strip of fabric that is held to the dress with those red dot buttons.  When you remove the strip of fabric, there are red hearts on the dress so that it can be worn for Valentine's Day, too. Grandma Beth got Abby this hooded cardigan at Old Navy this summer and we have been LOVING it this winter!

Wednesday December 19

This shirt was Abby's cousin's.  The material for the ornament string is the same as these pants of Katie Grace's.
Abby wore two outfits this day.  This was Kristi's.

Thursday December 20
Today was Abby's Christmas Party at school and she wore this Rudolph dress from Rosalina.

I got it on clearance this summer and I was so excited for her to wear it, but it is huge!  It is a 2T, but it is SO big on her.  I tried it on her this fall for Christmas pictures and it was way too big to wear then.  I wasn't sure if she'd get to wear it this year, but I'm sure she will next year!

She loves looking at Rudolph

And she loves showing people Rudolph!

Dressing for December, Continued

Tuesday December 11, 2012
Kim bought Abby this sweater at Gymboree a while back and it is humongous on her.  I rolled up the sleeves a bunch, so I know she will be wearing it next winter.  It also has matching jeans, but they are too big just yet, so I put these jeans of Katie Grace's on her.  I love them.  She's been wearing them a long time and she still has room in them,

Love, love, love this outfit of Katie Grace's

How Christmasy can you get?
I like this picture with the tree in the background.

Dressing for December, Week Two

December 6, 2012
Christmas Mice must have been very popular the year Katie Grace was two.  Abby loved showing people the mice on her outfit.

December 7, 2012
I could eat this girl up in this candy cane dress (also Katie Grace's).  She wore it to lunch with Daddy.

December 8, 2012
This was one of Julie's favorite outfits of Katie Grace's.  She was so sad when it didn't fit any more.  It's big on Abby.  We rolled up the pants, so she may be able to wear it next year, too.
She wore it to go see the Trains at North Park.
December 9, 2012
This is an 18-month outfit of Katie's, but we squeezed another use out of it.
It's a velvet dress with flannel in the pleats.
After nap on Sunday Abby had her very first birthday party that she herself was invited to.  She has gone to several of Aaron's friends' parties, but this was the first that was for one of her friends.  She and I went to the party at the Botanical Gardens in Grapevine.
She had a great time.  I am pretty sure this dress was Kristi's.  I think she'll be able to wear this next year, too.
December 10, 2012
Perfect for a cold day at home.  This velour black and burgundy outfit was Katie Grace's.

Round 3 in Black and White

Christmas Pictures, Round 3

I don't know if I should call these Christmas pictures since we already had ours done and our cards in hand when these were taken, but the theme was A Victorian Christmas, so...
These actually weren't taken by my beloved Kristi and it's a faulously long story how they came about,

But our friends have a photography studio and the wife ended up doing this mini session at Nash Farm in Grapevine.

She took pictures for us and even made some Christmas cards.  This picture was on the front of the card.
I like this picture even though no one is looking at the camera.
Family shot
This picture was on the back of the card.
Some fall pictures
Fun in the wagon
