Sweet Boy

Aaron loves his sister so much! He is always asking to hold her. He gives her lots of kisses and hugs and he pats her chest when she cries. Awww! He was wanting me to take pictures of the two of them today and they didn't turn out very good, but I thought I should use them for my post about how sweet Aaron is.

When we were in the car today I reached back and told him to give me 'Five' while we were stopped. He did that, but then he said 'Hold Hands' and grabbed my hand. When I tried to take it away (because it's uncomfortable to have your arm stretched that far behind you) he said 'Hold Hands, Please). Oh my! I got tears in my eyes thinking of the day when he wouldn't want to hold my hand any longer. I let him hold it all the way home

He is starting to want to be held and he'll say, 'Hold Mama' when he wants me to hold him! Rebekah - isn't this what Cilla says? Doesn't it Melt Your Heart?!?

Aaron is so sweet and so full of hugs and kisses and so much love. He just makes my heart absolutely swell.

Easter Egg Hunt

The City of Grapevine had an Easter Egg hunt on Saturday morning. It was at Nash Farm, where we went a couple of weeks ago for Fun at the Farm. When Aaron found out where we going he kept saying, "Ride Horse". HA! Here he is with his buckets. He had a bucket for himself and one for Abby. He put every other egg he found in his bucket and every other egg he found in Abby's bucket so they each had the same amount. How sweet! Waiting for the hunt to start!

Sunday Best

Two Months has been our rule on when the kids go to church and Abby turned two months Friday, so we're back! It was so nice. Here is Aaron before we went in. He was awfully excited. Grandma Sheri bought him this outfit when she was here for Abby's birth. I thought he looked fantastic!

And here's Daddy with Little Miss. I decided not to put her in nursery until Summer, so she stayed with us. Miss Leslie held her all during Sunday School and I think both Leslie and Abby were as content as they could be!

Here she is all smiley after church. The Magills gave us this precious dress and I couldn't wait to get it on her!

More Comparison Pictures

Aaron is about 5 weeks old in these pictures and Abby is about 8 weeks old. The overalls were my nephew's and Aaron wore them a lot. I thought they were awful cute on him. I threw them on Abby to do some comparison shots.

This Week

We were waylaid by a runny nose this week, so we were at the house almost the entire week. Since we don't have a lot to report, here are some random pictures I took of the kids. Towards the end of the week, we did get out to meet Daddy for lunch. We love to do that!

We made some orange cupcakes and colored the icing for spring. I saw the recipe in an ad for Domino Sugar and it was really good!

We had lots of lovin' time - I love that!

Two Months Old!

Happy Birthday, Sweet Girl! You are such a light. You are such a smiley baby! If you are awake you are giving big smiles to everyone around. I have pegged you as a Social Butterfly already.

You have started to make some cooing noises, too. You have also started to enjoy your bouncy and your swing a bit which is very nice for Mama.

You wear size 3 month clothes, but I put you in 6 month onesies. You wear size 1 diapers.

You are eating every 3 hours during the day and you wake up once at night to eat. You take 3 naps during the day and they are about 1 1/2 hours each. You are a sweet, easy baby.

We love you, Abigail Elizabeth!

Look Who's Smiling

I can not tell you how this smile lights up my life! I LOVE IT. Abby's been smiling for about a week now and it is my favorite thing.

I love this onesie. Our children are blessed to have Grandmothers who pray for them. I know that our healthy, wonderful children are the answers to many prayers and I am so grateful for that. I am very thankful for our Godly families.
