Project Life Tuesday

It's time for Project Life Tuesday again and we have had such a fun week to share.

Tuesday May 25, 2010

We met Laura and Braysen at the park again and we met up with Lauren and Harper. Lauren is another friend of Rebekah's that I had the blessing of being introduced to. These are just the nicest women and their kids are so sweet to put up with Aaron who is definitely more rambunctious than they. Wednesday May 26, 2010

Kimmie came by to drop off Aaron's life jacket. I wanted to borrow it while we await the arrival of ours. She brought this ball for Aaron and he had a blast with it. He can kick it, throw it AND make it bounce!

We went to Tyler for a pool party. Aaron spent approximately 60 seconds in the pool before he spotted a large potted plant filled with soil. The hostess said he could play with it all day if he wanted to and, it turns out, he did. So, not so much on the swimming - we are much more interested in dirt than water.

Friday May 28, 2010
Daddy left for his golf tournament, but not before a group picture with Uncle Rock and Uncle TC!

Saturday May 29, 2010
We went to Kimmie and Papa's to swim. Here is Aaron in his Memorial Day Flag Swim Trunks and his very cool Nike hat Papa found him. He was in the pool approximately 60 seconds before he asked to play in the sandbox which he did for the duration of our visit. He is comfortable in the water, but definitely prefers dirt. It's way more fun.

Sunday May 30, 2010
Isn't this the sweetest picture? We had lunch with Leslie, Grace and Catherine. I love all of them! Those girls are just precious. We had a great time and we learned that Aaron does not like ketchup (thank you, Catherine).

Monday May 31, 2010
What a fun way to end the month! We met Grandad, Mimi and Big Mom for dinner. We ate at a Mexican Restaurant and I wasn't sure what Aaron would eat so I packed his dinner - broccoli, eggs and apples. HA! Grandad had visions of corn dogs, chips and ice cream. Thwarted by Mean Mom once again. Aaron had a fun time, though. He loves his Grandad and Mimi and he also really liked our waiter. He waved and said 'Hi!' every time he came by.
