This is the day Aaron found out he is getting a little sister, Abby. We're pretty sure he doesn't understand the full ramifications of that. HA! Wednesday October 6, 2010
We had BSF in the morning and some errands in the afternoon and as much Outside Time as we could squeeze in. The weather is so nice right now!
What a day! Rebekah and Cilla were in town for the A&M/Arkansas game and we met them at McDonald's for some playtime in the morning. It was so fun and we were so glad we got to see them while they were in town.
After McDonald's, Aaron and I headed to Tyler. Emerson's 3rd birthday party was Friday morning so we went down the afternoon before. Aaron stayed with Charity and Abigail while I went to the dentist and then Aaron and I had a very nice dinner together at the Potpourri House. The salad bar is free for kids under three and I don't think they made that rule in anticipation of veggie lovers like Aaron - he ate three plates! After dinner we spent the night at Aunt Jane's and Aaron so enjoys it there. It is wonderful that we have a place to stay there.

We had time in the morning before the party so we met Jennifer and Charlotte at the park. It was short, but I really enjoyed it.
Emerson's party was so cute! She had a Teddy Bear Picnic! All of the kids ate on a big picnic blanket and they had individual picnic baskets for all of the children. Each basket had a turkey and cheese sandwich, pretzels, fruit and juice. All of the kids loved it. They all also got to stuff their own bears! FUN! Now Aaron is a little younger than the rest of the crowd and he spent most of the time playing alone with Emerson's play kitchen in her room away from all of the hustle, but he enjoyed himself for sure.

This was a great day. We had family time all morning and Aaron and I spent the afternoon together. while Jory went to the A&M/Arkansas game. Aaron was tired from a big week and went to bed about an hour early. He woke up Sunday so sweet and well-rested.
After church we went to Kimmie and Papa's. Aaron was supposed to take his nap in the car, but that never adds up to a good rest. So he was tired this afternoon. We planned to feed him at 5 and then be on the road by 5:30 so that his sleep schedule would not be thrown off. Because we are sometimes stupid we took Kimmie up on her offer to stay for dinner and did not leave their house until 6:30. The entire last hour that we were there Aaron was cranky. Kimmie and Papa were so disturbed by it that we got a phone call Monday to make sure Aaron was okay. Lesson learned.
We had a fun play date at the church for MOPS. They have a HUGE play area with several different sections for children to play in. Aaron started in the kitchen but spent the rest of the time in the Car Area just sitting and playing by himself with the little cars. He had a great time and all of the moms who were chasing their children in and out of every play area were very jealous!
