Babe's

These pictures are from a few weeks ago, but I think they are so cute. I will start posting recent pictures again tomorrow - we've had a big week to document! We stumbled upon a Babe's in Frisco when we were driving one weekend (we randomly drive and explore). We, of course, had to stop right then for lunch (it was something like 10:50am, but it was Babe's!). The picture above is Aaron watching the waitstaff dance to the juke box. I think it was Boot Scootin Boogie.

He was mostly wondering what was wrong with those people, I think, but he sure was fascinated.
Babe's was the very first time Aaron asked for something off of someone else's plate. Until this point, he has been perfectly content to eat peas and carrots while everyone else chowed on hamburgers and cookies. He had no concept that others were eating something different and it might be better. We held onto those days as long as possible, but enter Babe's. Aaron desperately wanted some of Daddy's chicken fried steak. I can't blame him, it was excellent!

And, in case you are wondering, No, Aaron did not get a bite of chicken fried steak. Besides the fact that I want his ticker to hold up just a little longer, I think we should wait for some molars before we try steak!
