Project Life Tuesday

It is Project Life Tuesday again and I swear we had a fun week, but it was pretty low key and I didn't get a lot of good pictures.

We closed on our house! Here is the new Casa de Allen. Aaron and I actually went to Benbrook first and played in the sandbox with Kimmie and then we went to Southlake and met Daddy for the closing. The closing was really quick and Aaron did great.

Okay, this is not a good picture - I wasn't able to upload it very well, but it was taken by Laura and you can check out really good pictures on her blog here. The girls invited me back to their Wednesday mom's playdate and we had a Cinco de Mayo celebration. It was SO much fun. Aaron did great - after a while. At first he was pretty fascinated by all those babies and he tried to sit on them, but once he got settled in we had a very nice time.

I made a pie today...

And this is how my kitchen looked while I was doing it.

I committed to doing some serious packing this day, so Aaron got to do a lot of coloring! This is him on one of the boxes I had packed. He colored it right up!

We spent Saturday at home and had a nice brunch at our apartments. After Aaron's naps we went to Benbrook to see Kim for Mother's Day. This was Aaron trying on his new life jacket. John got him it at the Fort Worth Boat Show so that he can run around their backyard without me having a coronary.

Happy Mother's Day, Kimmie! We had a nice Mother's Day. We left Kimmie and Papa's in the morning and had a low key family day. Aaron got me a VERY nice Mother's Day present - I was so impressed!

Look at these sweet girls! Allison came to Dallas today with Kate and we met her at Maria's house. Brielle and Aaron and Kate had such a nice time together. It was so good to see Allison and Maria is just the sweetest hostess.
