ICE!

We went to ICE! at the Gaylord with John and Kim yesterday.  None of us had ever been.  It is a tour of ice sculptures made with 2 million pounds of ice.  Each year has a theme.  This year is The Nutcracker.

This is a tunnel made entirely of ice that took you from the Nutcracker exhibit to Christmas in New York

Here are the kids in a taxi made entirely of ice.  Just to clarify, everything in all of these pictures is made entirely of ice. Except my kids.

Afterwards we went snow tubing and the kids LOVED that!

The very first thing we saw was a train.  Aaron was hooked.

An apple for New York.  This whole thing is in the Gaylord, but it's 9 degrees because it's, ummm, ice, so everyone is pretty bundled up.
Look at this ballerina!  My favorite!
Aaron said, "I'm a soldier!"

The finale was a nativity scene.  I couldn't capture it, but it was breath taking!!!!
And Aaron found a piece of ice on the floor and he was so excited to have a piece of the exhibit!
