Busy Day

As a note, these pictures are all from Thanksgiving Week in Ohio. Grandma Beth sent them to me this week and I thought it would be a good time to use them since I didn't get a single picture today. Aaron's ability to stand and walk towards the camera was a huge detriment on the photography front. I'll work harder.

Aaron was super busy all day today. He is getting more active every day. It definitely wears on him, though; he was ready for bed early tonight - I was, too! We went to a friend's house this morning to visit a little bit and then spent the rest of the day at home. I was able to spend a lot of time in the kitchen because Aaron was very busy with his toys in the living room. We could see each other, so we were both comfortable and we both got a lot done. Aaron obviously had something important to figure out on his toys. He worked at it all afternoon. I baked Lemon-glazed Gingersnaps for Jory. The recipe was from Prevention Magazine and it was really healthy (for cookies), so I didn't expect them to taste very good, but they did and Jory loved them!Tomorrow I have a Christmas Party for MOPS, so Aaron gets to spend the morning with his favorite church nursery workers. I hope they are well rested! Thursday Aaron and I are taking a day-long road trip and we'll be back that evening. Friday I'll be home getting ready for a weekend in Fort Worth. We celebrate Christmas with the Allens this weekend and we are really looking forward to it!

Those top two show how tuckered he was after the plane trip. Wouldn't it be great if we all could just "collapse" like that into blissful sleep?!

Handsome man in the end picture!:)

I love the pics of him sleeping! Man, I wish I could sleep like that! Isn't it nice now that they are gaining independence so we can get more done?!?! Although, it does make me a little sad that they grow up so quickly!
