Aaron's Party

Aaron's party was this morning and he had such a good time. We did a Western Theme. These were the invitations. This is the picture we sent with the invitations. Aaron wore the exact same outfit today and even Jory and I and Kimmie and Papa dressed a little Western.

Here is the sign at the entrance to the center where we had the party. This place was GREAT. It was no hassle for us and so much fun for the kids.
We started in the gym. It was set up for Preschool Playtime and there was so much to do.

Alana and Aaron tried out the teeter totter, for about 15 seconds...

And then Aaron went to figuring out how it works.

We were in the gym for an hour and before we headed to the Party Room we tried to get a picture of all of the kids. Needless to say, we did not accomplish this. This picture, though, is really good of Grace and Catherine.

Braysen just fell over in this one!

I think Aaron is trying to escape!
After the gym we headed to the party room. We had decorated it that morning in a Western Theme - lots of bandanas! I also brought up Aaron's photo album from his second year. His time on earth has been well memorialized so far!

These cookies were so good. I found them through Kelly and Jennifer's blogs and ordered them from Arkansas. Robin Harper makes them. Here is her website. She does every design imaginable. I was so pleased with how they turned out and even more so that they tasted as good as they looked!

We did sandwiches, chips and water for the adults with some bandana napkins. Simple and yummy! Plus clean up was awful easy!

For the kids I made sandwich bags with a sandwich, cheese stick, applesauce and juice. There were also snack bags with peanut butter crackers, animal crackers and fruit snacks. All of the kids ate well except for Aaron. It was too early for him but he came home and ate his bag there...once he pulled the sandwich apart, of course.

Aaron was a little confused by the candle and Daddy had to help him blow it out.
Aaron got lots of fun gifts and he had lots of help opening them!
Aaron seemed to have a lot of fun and Jory said it was because so many of his favorite people were there! He talked all week about who he would see at the party and, of course, he mentioned Dawl and Mimi a lot!

He was so glad to see Alana that he gave her a big hug right away!

He also talked about Papa and Dee coming!

And, of course, Daddy was there!

We are so glad our boy enjoyed his Big Birthday Weekend!

So cute! The main table was really cute--I liked the bandanna idea. The cookies are really cute and look yummy.
I'm glad Aarona and everyone else had a good time.
My favorite pic is where Aaron is looking under the teetor totter, trying to figure out how it works!:)

Looks like the party was a lot of fun! I meant to get on the computer and wish Aaron a Happy birthday on Friday... but I never even sat down! Preparing for a party is hard work on the momma!!! Abby is precious, too, and I hope y'all are doing well!
