Summer of Fun, Days 56 and 57

Yesterday was not a fun day.  Jory left for several days.  It's always hard for us when Daddy is gone, but as Aaron explained to me tonight at dinner, it's a lot harder for Aaron because he loves Daddy more than I do.  Okay, then.  We tried to stay busy yesterday, but it was Thursday, so it was mostly an errands day, though we did stop at Starbucks!

Today we went to the car wash after we picked up payroll

 

We stuck around the house the rest of the morning, but in the afternoon we went to the aquarium to get our annual passes.  They had a sale today, so we waited for that.  We didn't actually go into the aquarium, but the kids spent a lot of time with the aquarium maps.

We went to the Disney Store to get a present for Audra's Frozen party.

They had a sale on the Planes figures that Aaron loves, so he got Ishani for $3.

We went to dinner at Cracker Barrel.  I can't even tell you what Aaron ate for dinner.  I don't know whether to be proud or just cry.

 

Aaron has been working on teaching Abigail checkers.  He's been working on teaching her a lot of things and she just loves to take it all in!

 

We still miss Daddy, but today was a better day.  And the Elliotts took pity on us, so we get to go there tomorrow!
